F1 High Downforce Wing from Ehrbar Engineering - Black

After a year of development and testing, the Ehrbar Engineering Formula high-downforce front wings for Formula 1 racing cars in 1:10 scale are now available. The wings are designed for high performance without compromising the look of modern formula racing cars.

Many different variants have been tested by David Ehrbar and his core testing team, and even more have gone through the "Ehrbar Engineering Virtual Windtunnel" process.

The available product produces a lot of downforce in all conditions, while creating much less turbulence than most 1:10 scale front wings. Additionally, the airflow is quite stable, resulting in very predictable handling in low and high speed corners. At the same time, the wing should be robust enough to withstand serious wheel-to-wheel racing.

Therefore, a high-chord, low-angle-of-attack, one-piece wing was chosen, with a curved profile to utilize ground effect more in the middle area and in front of the wheels and less in the area in between.

Downforce is equal to or higher than most available wings with bolt-on flaps, yet the car remains easy to drive because there is much less disruption to airflow to the body and rear wing.

Thanks to the curved underside, downforce can be fine-tuned by adjusting the ride height. The wing creates the greatest downforce when it is kept as close to the ground as possible.

The wings are available in black (EW01B) and white (EW01W) material.

The wings are constructed in two parts. Wings, wing holders and the connecting screws are included in the scope of delivery. The wings should fit any current 1/10 scale Formula 1 RC car with the typical M4 mounting screws.
